H.E. Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani
Chairman of the Board of Directors
His Excellency Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani has been the Chairman of Gulf Air Group and has presided over the Group, Gulf Air (GF) and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) since 2022.
His Excellency Alzayani is responsible for developing policies and strategies that streamline collaboration between the Group's various entities, enhance the aviation sector's pivotal role in Bahrain's economic growth, and maximize stakeholder value.
His Excellency Alzayani has contributed significantly to the Kingdom of Bahrain's growth and development over the years, having served as the Minister of Industry and Commerce, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the Minister in Charge of the Bahrain Bourse.
His Excellency has also been a Board Member for many corporate and government entities, including the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Mumtalakat, the Sovreign wealth fund of Bahrain, and the Small or Medium sized Enterprise Development Board. His 23 years of experience spans diverse and senior positions across private sector organizations.
His Excellency Alzayani holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Bahrain, and Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Boston, and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bahrain. He was formerly a Board Member of the Boston University International Advisory Board.
H.E. Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa

Political Advisor to HRH the Crown Prince's Court
His Excellency Shaikh Mohamed bin Essa Al Khalifa is a member of Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors.
His Excellency Shaikh Mohamed is the Political and Economic Advisor to his Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He plays a significant role in advancing the region's broader economic development through active participation in the World Economic Forum and various other regional forums.
His Excellency Shaikh Mohamed is Chairman of the Bahrain Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and a board member of the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Programme, EDB (Economic Development Board), and McLaren.
His Excellency Shaikh Mohamed holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economic Theory from the American University in Washington, DC, and a post-graduate diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics.
H.E. Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa

His Excellency Shaikh Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa is a board member of Bahrain Airport Company.
As the Director General of Policies and Coordination within the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Shaikh Fahad brings extensive expertise as an advisor with a proven track record in the field of government relations.
His Excellency Shaikh Fahad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University, US, and a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University, US.
Mr. Jameel Almatrook

Mr. Jameel Almatrook is a member of Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors.
With over three decades of successful business insights encompassing diverse enterprises worldwide, Mr. Almatrook has dedicated numerous years to serving the Kingdom of Bahrain in various roles and capacities.
Mr. Almatrook was a member of the Shura Council and has also served as a Board Advisor to the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain.
Mr. Almatrook is a member of the Royal Institute of Civil Engineers (UK) and the Bahrain Society of Engineers. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Leeds University, UK.
Mr. Essa Mohammed Najibi

Mr. Essa Najibi is a member of Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors.
With a wealth of experience spanning 35 years in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Najibi has a versatile background encompassing business and investment, real estate development, and expertise in engineering.
Mr. Najibi is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Najibi Investment Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seef Properties, Chairman of Ibdar Capital, and one of the co-founders of the Royal University for Women. He also sits on the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees at the university and is the Managing Director of the owning company.
Mr. Ali Moosa

Mr. Ali Moosa is a board member of Bahrain Airport Company and is also Chairman of the GF Audit Committee.
In addition to his role on Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors, Mr. Moosa holds board positions in various corporate and government organizations, such as the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Future Generation Fund, AmCham, GPIC, and the Bahrain Association of Banks. With over three decades of experience in the banking and finance industry, he currently serves as a key advisor at Singapore Gulf Bank in Bahrain.
Mr. Moosa holds an MBA from the London School of Business and Finance and an MBA in Telecoms Systems and Treasury Management from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) Global.
Ms. Fatima Alhasan

Ms. Fatima's primary expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of both conventional and Islamic Banking and finance affairs, where she has represented banks, borrowers, sponsors, and government entities in numerous high-profile transactions with Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Additionally, she possesses a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial aspects, including international trade, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture partnerships, and investment funds.
Ms. Fatima's previous jobs include those at other law firms, Bahrain's sovereign wealth fund, and the World Bank. Fatima is a member of the Bahrain Bar Society and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. She is recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global, Legal 500, and IFLR. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Warwick, England, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Georgetown University, Washington, DC.
Mr. Tarek Sultan

Vice Chairman of Agility
Mr. Tarek Sultan is a member of Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors.
Assuming leadership in 1997, he became the Vice Chairman of Agility and played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth.
Mr. Sultan is a member of the Board of Directors of DSV A/S, a global top-three freights forwarding company, and previously served as an advisor to the Singapore Economic Development Board. He also sat on Wharton's International Advisory Council and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Gulf Bank and Burgan Bank.
Mr. Sultan plays an active role in endorsing and participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF) initiatives. He holds a membership in the WEF's international Business Council, serves as a steward on the WEF's Stewardship Board for the Platform on Shaping the Future of Mobility, and holds the position of Governor within the World Economic Forum's Supply Chain and Transport Industry Community.
Mr. Sultan holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, US, and a Bachelor of Economics from Williams College, US.
Mr. Charlie Foreman

Senior Advisor at Lazard
Mr. Charlie Foreman is a member of Bahrain Airport Company's Board of Directors and a Senior Advisor to Lazard, one of the most respected names in global financial services and served as Managing Director from 2009 until 2021. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development and operations of the European Capital Markets Advisory Business.
Before joining Lazard, Mr. Foreman was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank as the Head of UK Corporate Broking and ECM and has also serves as a Senior Corporate Finance Advisor.
Mr. Foreman also lends his expertise as a Senior Consultant for Cambridge University Health Partners and holds significant positions, including Deputy Chairman at the Institute of Cancer Research and Director of the Babraham Research Campus in Cambridge.
Mr. Foreman holds an MPhill in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge University and a BA from Durham University.
