Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah
Chief Executive Officer
Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah is the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) which is responsible for managing, operating, and developing Bahrain International Airport (BIA) since 2010.
Since joining the company in 2012, driven by a clear vision to elevate and position Bahrain International Airport as a friendly and efficient regional hub, Mohamed has led the team that worked jointly with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications since 2014 to deliver the $1.1bn Bahrain International Airport Modernization Programme with the aim of enhancing the airport’s infrastructure and sustain the growth of Bahrain’s aviation sector in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Mohamed is also the Chairman of BAC Jet Fuel Company WLL and the Chairman of Hala Bahrain WLL, a passenger services subsidiary of BAC.
Mohamed was recently appointed as a Board Member to the Airport Council International (ACI) World Governing Board (WGB) besides his position as a Regional Director at ACI Asia-Pacific Board. He is a founding member of the Bahrain Green Building Council and currently serves as its Chairman.
Mohamed holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration.

Ayman Zainal
Chief Commercial Officer
Ayman Zainal is responsible for all commercial operations and overall airport revenue. As Chief Commercial Officer his role also involves business development as well as mergers and acquisitions.
As a Master's in Business Administration and Bachelor in Computer Science, Ayman brings a variety of skills to the table. He enjoys working in a dynamic organization that lets him fully utilize his managerial experience, financial skills, and analytical background to fulfill core business objectives.

Ali Rashed
Chief Airport Operations Officer
Ali Rashed joined BAC in 2017 to ensure that the customer service and travel experience are improved through efficient, safe, and timely airport operations that are in compliance with regulatory requirements and international best practices.
He has 27 years of overseas experience in various aviation streams including Etihad Airways, Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), British Airways, and Gulf Air. He achieved the station award for the world record of on-time performance with zero shipped baggage, and multiple awards for performance and personal achievements.

Leena Faraj
Vice President - Corporate Strategy and Support
Leena Faraj plays a pivotal role in strategy implementation, business improvement, and ensuring overall standards of quality. Her role includes setting targets, measuring performance against targets, and even creating initiatives to meet those targets effectively.
She comes on board with a repertoire of experience having worked with American Express, Trust international and EDB. As a graduate in Business Administration and Human Resource Management alongside an Airport Strategic Management Diploma from IATA, Leena’s motto in life is to keep it changing and never get bored. Her success story at BAC has been no different. Hired to cover an HR manager’s role, her project management and structuring ability cemented her position in a more integral role at BAC.
When she is not hitting targets at work, you will find Leena spending time with her family in their beautiful home in Oxford, horse-riding, swimming or even clay pigeon shooting at the shooting range!

Hesham Zaman
Vice President - Development & Technical
Mr. Hesham Abdulla Zaman joined Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) in 2011 and currently serves as Vice President – Development & Technical. In this role, he is responsible for managing and coordinating all development and technical projects at Bahrain International Airport (BIA), as well as overseeing BAC’s Warehouse Department.
With over 25 years of experience spanning both private and public sectors, he brings a wealth of expertise to his position.
Mr. Hesham holds a Mini-MBA from Missouri State University – USA, a Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University – England, and a BSC in Architectural Engineering from the University of Bahrain (UOB). He was also among the first Bahrainis to successfully complete the International Professional Accreditation Programme in Airport Management (AMPAP), a globally recognized program supervised by Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Eyad Ismaeel
Vice President - Facility Management
As Vice President of Facility Management Eyad Ismaeel leads the strategic direction and operational excellence of all facility management functions. He expertly oversaw the seamless integration of the new airport facility, ensuring uninterrupted operations at Bahrain International Airport (BIA).
Eyad holds a Bachelor’s degree from Westminster University - London and is certified by both the ACI-ICAO Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) and the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM). His blend of technical expertise and strategic vision makes him a vital asset to BAC.
