After you land, follow the clearly posted signs to the baggage reclaim area. Signs above each of the 8 carousels show which flight the bags are from. If you can’t find the carousel for your flight, just ask one of our friendly team members for help.

Upon arrival, clear signage will guide you to immigration. Please have your passport and any required visa documents (including e-visas, where applicable) ready. Check the BIA website for specific visa requirements before you travel. After immigration, proceed to baggage claim. Our award-winning baggage delivery system and clear flight information displays make locating your luggage easy. Stay connected with our free, high-speed Wi-Fi while you wait.
Before passing through customs, take the opportunity to explore the Arrivals Duty Free outlet for last minute shopping.
Proceed through customs using the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare or the Red Channel if you have goods to declare. Once you have cleared customs, a variety of transportation options are available:
Taxis: Find readily available Bahraini taxis in Car Park B and app-based taxis conveniently located outside Gate 1.
Car Rentals: Choose from several car rental services located in the arrival’s hall.
Public Transportation: Benefit from 24/7 public bus connections providing convenient and affordable access to various destinations across Bahrain.

Bahrain International Airport provides comprehensive assistance for travelers with disabilities. We recommend contacting your airline or BIA directly in advance to request any special assistance you may require.
You can purchase a local SIM card from any of the telecommunication stores, which are located in the Arrivals Area after passing through customs.
Exchange currency outlets and ATMs are conveniently located in the Arrivals Area.
Cafés, restaurants, and shops offering quick snacks and hot/cold beverages are spread throughout the Arrivals Area. There are also more options in the Departures Area on the level above you.

You will be asked to remove your belt, shoes, and possibly your jacket, before going through security. To save time, wear shoes that are easily removed.

If you are taking prescription medications or syringes with you, each item should be in its original container, and you should carry the prescriptions with you.
