Bahrain Airport Company conducts Emergency Exercise at the Fuel Farm in Bahrain International Airport

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), successfully conducted an emergency exercise at the Fuel Farm at BIA. The exercise was designed to test the effectiveness of the related emergency plan and ensure the readiness of all emergency responders.

The exercise tested several key elements, including the testing of command and control, coordination and communication, emergency response and notification procedures; assessing resource availability, evaluating site control and safety measures, testing the triage and search and rescue operations, reviewing investigation and liaison processes, and assessing environmental impact and mitigation measures. It also provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement in emergency response procedures and monitor the functionality of the related emergency plan and related communication systems.
