Bahrain Airport Company Participates in National Tree Week

 In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to launch this year’s Tree Week, which aims to strengthen national efforts toward environmental sustainability, improve quality of life, and support programs to protect natural resources and maintain environmental balance, Bahrain Airport Company organized a tree-planting event at Bahrain International Airport. The event was attended by Mr. Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, Chief Executive Officer, along with several company officials. 

This initiative supports the National Afforestation Plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035, aligning with Bahrain’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. 

The initiative is also in line with BAC’s sustainability and corporate social responsibility principles, which emphasize the importance of conserving the environment and implementing green practices in the aviation industry.
