Bahrain International Airport opens Entertainment Zone as part of National Day celebrations

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), announced the opening of the airport’s eagerly anticipated Entertainment Zone as part of its National Day celebrations. Operated by Noorland, the Entertainment Zone is free to access and located in the Departure Area around the Air Traffic Control Tower. Featuring interactive toys, gaming consoles, climbing domes, and comfortable seating, it has something for everyone, from toddlers to teens to parents, further enhancing BIA travel experience.

BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah said: “BIA’s carefully considered range of amenities, retail, Duty-Free, and dining options are designed to help passengers make the most of their time at the airport. However, those traveling with children can sometimes find the airport experience more challenging. The new Entertainment Zone is a game-changer that provides a fun and engaging place for children, teens, their parents, and solo travelers to relax and enjoy themselves while waiting for their flights. We are delighted to open this new facility, which compliments BIA’s diverse offerings and demonstrates why it was named the World’s Best New Airport.”
