Minister of Transportation receives the new General Manager of Bahrain Jet Fuel Company

His Excellency the Minister of Transportation & Telecommunications and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chairman, Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed met with Omar Ahmed Al-Mansoori on the occasion of his appointment as General Manager of Bahrain Jet Fuel Company (BJFCO). Also present was BJFCO Chairman and BAC Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah.
HE the Minister welcomed Engineer Mansouri, congratulated him on his appointment, and wished him success in his new role, adding: "Launched this year, the fuel farm complex is a vital component of the Bahrain International Airport (BIA) Modernization Program. BJFCO will strengthen Bahrain's position as a major hub for aircraft fuel services in the region, contribute to sustainable economic growth in the air transport sector, and increase operational efficiency at BIA in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.”
Engineer Al Mansouri has held positions at several major oil and gas technology companies and holds master's and bachelor's degrees in chemical engineering from Cambridge University.
BJFCO was formed in 2016 with the goal of restructuring the aviation fuel sector in the Kingdom and constructing and managing the fuel farm complex. Housing aviation fuel tanks with a total capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, the complex covers an area of 77,000 sqm, including dedicated operational and service buildings.
