From Friday, 21 November 2025, the Ministry of Works will close the left-turn lanes from Khalifa Al Kabeer Hwy to BIA (north) and Arad Hwy, plus the slip lane from Arad Hwy to Khalifa Al Kabeer Hwy toward the airport, for about three months. Detours will be signposted, please allow extra travel time and follow traffic instructions.

Baggage Wrapping

The Hala Bahrain Hospitality baggage wrapping service protects your luggage throughout your flight. Prior to check-in, we wrap, seal, and/or pack your luggage securely using a strong plastic film to protect it against being accidentally opened or tampered with. Repack Services

The repacking service is designed to assist you with reorganizing and re-packing your baggage, ensuring compliance with airline allowances and protecting your baggage against damage. This service is available in the Departures Area for the price of BHD 2.

Trolleys

Trolleys are provided at convenient locations across the airport, free of charge. You can find them at the inner and outer curbsides at Departures and at the Arrivals baggage reclaim nest points.

Oversized Items

There are two 'Oversized Items' dedicated counters available at for both departing and arriving passengers. The departures' counter is located at the Economy check-in area whereas the arrivals counter is located at the reclaim area. Our friendly staff can help direct you towards the 'Oversized Items' counters.
